Fionn’s Story

Meningitis Stories

Fionn Denvir, from Newcastle County Down who recovered from meningitis and sepsis aged 4, is an active fundraiser for the meningitis cause. Fionn now aged 20 is now studying at Queens University Belfast.

Throughout his young life he has been involved in school fundraising including marathon walks, promoting meningitis awareness, and at the age of 11 years gave a presentation at the Parliament Building, Stormont, Belfast campaigning for the Meningitis B vaccine to be introduced into the national childhood immunisation program.  Assisted by his parents Rita and Neil, Fionn also manages a number of collection boxes in the County Down area.
