Friends of Jennifer (Jenn) recently marked the 10th anniversary of her tragic loss to meningitis at the age of 21 in Spectacular Style, raising £3,611.00 in her memory. Rebecca Mckeown who grew up with Jennifer in Paisley, Scotland, rallied a number of Jenn’s friends, work colleagues and supporters to a fundraising evening including a disco, raffle. auction and buffet.
Rebecca said:
“Jenn was the most amazing friend, when she was in a room it light up. Jenn had such a vibrant personality, to match her hair! She was loyal and funny and when she laughed you couldn’t help but laugh too, she had the most infectious laugh and smile! When we worked in Odeon Jenn was always up to some sort of mischief and we were always caught skiving. She was someone you could always rely on to be there if you needed her! She really was the life of the party on any night out! Jenn was the selfie queen, we used to have missions to get a selfie with every person on the night out, which I and many others are now extremely grateful for and cherish. Jennifer was a true friend, the best friend we could have had, she is missed every day and carried in our hearts always”
