Yesterday I was privileged to witness my beautiful Grandson Sonny getting his booster jabs at the doctors, two of which were the Meningitis B&C. As I sat there and witnessed this, I couldn’t help thinking about the wonderful work my Father has done over the last 40 years to improve the awareness of meningitis, but also the development of these two vaccines that have undoubtedly saved so many lives.
My little brother Spencer has left such a wonderful legacy, there is still lots of work to be done in the development of vaccines, and we will continue to fight in Spencer’s name.
